“Execution with Equitation” Clinic

Thank you for your interest in our ”Execution with Equitation” clinic! This program is designed to emphasis the proper fundamentals of equitation.
Riders will ride every day, with videotaping to be able to review their rides. Our main focus will be course design, studying why course designers set certain “tests” throughout a course and how your “path” and plan in the ring directly affects your ability to lay down a smooth round with great consistent distances, all while sharpening the riders “eye” and “feel.” The first two days riders will walk/set/ride courses that Nicolle has designed for them; the third day each rider will design their own course; with the goal of producing a challenging course that shows off their strengths and demonstrates their new understanding of why courses are laid out the way they are.

Summer Beginner Days

In offering our camp, we hope to give kids a fun welcome to the world of horses and horse showing!

This program is geared towards younger riders who have are either just starting to horse show, or have little to no riding or show experience. Riders will be learning and practicing tools to help them be successful not only in every day riding, but also in the show ring both on and off a horse. We will also be learning about proper horse care and use of proper equipment.
Students should bring a lunch, and must wear heeled shoes, paddock boots preferred. No sneakers or shorts for riding. Riders should bring a change of clothes for when they are finished riding. If student does not have their own helmet; we have helmets available to borrow. Please bring lots of water, as it gets quite hot while working with the horses!
